Did you read this because you agree with him, or because you don’t? Ietrio I have read it for the irony. The guy glorified the Romanian identity although I doubt Romanian was his first language.

He was ethnic Polish and was …more I have read it codreanj the irony. He was ethnic Polish and was quite aware of that as his father changed the family name I believe after he was born. He was just a populist who lost his marbles along the way. And the writing is just dull.

One evening, when one of them won over all the other fighters, from among the spectators a citizen stood up asking to fight the winner. He was permitted to do so. He undressed and the fight started. In two minutes the Hungarian circus strongman was thrown to the ground, defeated.

The Romanian who won admits the crowd’s enthusiastic admiration, was none other legionarles Constantin Pancu. Fascism means first of all defending your nation against the dangers that threaten it. It means the destruction of these dangers and the opening of a free codrdanu to life and glory for your nation.

The nation has its roots like those of a tree deep in the country’s soil whence it derives its nourishment and life.

There is no people that can live without land, as there is no tree which can live hanging in air. This betrayal by these politicians of their people is so frightening that, if they are still alive, the people should gouge their eyes out; if they are dead, their bones should be disinterred and burnt in public squares. Their children and grandchildren should be prosecuted, their wealth confiscated and they should be stigmatized with the epithet of “traitors’ children. If I had but one bullet and I were faced by both an enemy and a traitor, I would let the traitor have it.

Matt Parrott reviews Codreanu’s For My Legionaries | Counter-Currents Publishing

We wanted to shoot with them the ministers, codreamu, and the big Jewish bankers. I crush them under my heel, pushing and turning it into the ground, like I would crush a worm. Down below, we will spread death and mercy. We have no “members” in the sense of isolated individuals.

There is only the nest and the individual member is part of a nest. The legionary organization is not formed from a number of members, but a number of nests. Say only what you must. Speak only when necessary. Your oratory should be deeds, not words.

As a natural consequence it becomes the slave legiomaries the great Jewish international finance which subjugates it by subvention. In this fashion the fate of a people is given into the hands of a fpr of bankers. Cuza has been fighting the Jews since ; we, since, when we had not even heard of Adolf Hitler.

For My Legionaries by Corneliu Zelea Codreanu

This is the historic call of our generation, that on today’s ruins we build a new and beautiful country. Aug 28, NanoCyborg rated it it was amazing Shelves: That ending is just brutal, Codreanu will never die, however, those gendarmes will. Codreanu was one of the greatest men of history, from what I can tell in this book, and he deserves at the minimum recognition within the Orthodox Church.

This book was magnificent in it’s telling of his life story and everything that happened between his introduction to low level anti communist activities to being the mastermind of the Clerical Fascist Iron Guard. It’s a shame that in the end he was assassinated That ending is just brutal, Codreanu will never die, however, those gendarmes will. It’s a shame that in the end he was assassinated by the pathetic king elgionaries II and his organization achieved power for only a tiny ym of time.

His righteous spirit and indignation will live on forever, both internationally and in the soil of Romania and her peoples.

I hope that I will eventually legionariee to meet Codreanu in Heaven. Jul 06, Privada rated it codeanu was amazing Shelves: Before your columns, all our oppressors will fall. Forgive those who struck you for personal reasons. Those who have tortured you for your faith in the Romanian people, you will not forgive.

Do not confuse the Christian right and duty of forgiving those who wronged you, with the right and duty of our people to punish those wh “To you, who have been struck, maligned coereanu martyred, I can bring the news, which I wish to carry more than the frail value of a casual rhetorical phrase: Do not confuse the Christian right and duty of forgiving those who wronged you, with the right and duty of our people to punish those who have betrayed it and assumed for themselves the responsibility to oppose its destiny.

Do not forget that the swords you have put on belong to the nation. You carry them in her name, In her name you leigonaries use legiobaries for punishment-unforgiving and unmerciful. Thus and only thus, will you be preparing a healthy future for this nation. Jul 19, Wickstrom rated it it was amazing. A case study in the psychology of tragic heroism.

A moving account of heroism, and of profound love for one’s fatherland, one’s people and national culture.

Corneliu Zelea Codreanu

The accounts, included documented statistics, of the parasitic invasion by Zionist Jews, the abject betrayal of the people by the entire political class and the unconscious persecution, not excluding systematic torture, extrajudicial killings at the order of the highest public office and basically outright war codraenu the indigenous population of the country is shocking to learn of.

But Codreanu’s A moving account of heroism, and of profound love for one’s fatherland, one’s people and national culture. But Codreanu’s account is maybe most importantly a didactic recipe for building a very sound and robust resistance movement under very hostile conditions. Even though he and his legionnaires failed in the end, and by our age the ancient Romanian people have all but been completely replaced by uncultured opportunists and the original usurpers, these edifying instructions and the wisdom accompanying them impressively from someone who was savagely culled in the prime of his life legionarkes still function as practical tools for today’s traditionalists and nationalists who are determined to act in concert against the scourge that even now, even more powerful than 80 years ago, threaten the nations representing the spiritual and cultural vanguard of humanity.

But this presents a paradox since Codreanu with both his Legion of the Archangel Michael and later the Iron Guard, had the Holy Father, God, as espoused by the orthodox church in Romania, as the core support of their moral and leionaries constitution. The modern organizations seem to have an optional attitude towards religion. In that they seem to me to have excised the very core while still believing that the template handed over by Codreanu vodreanu his peers will work in its current application.

Dec 07, Greg Paulson rated it it was amazing. A truly inspirational work! I highly recommend this book. I have no doubt Codreanu will be among the Wildes Heer: Aug 19, Locky rated it it was amazing Shelves: It’s always refreshing to read a book that fuels the fire within. Codreanu deserves nothing short of sainthood. It’s also interesting to see Jews rate this book as 1 star for being anti-semitic, yet don’t put forth a single argument against Codreanu’s concerns for Jewish subversion of Romania.

Mar 24, Iuli rated it it was ok. Romanian nazi copycats using the cross instead of the swastika. Codreanu, an immensely charismatic extreme right winger who became for many people the providential man who could fix society’s problems codranu the application of his righteous wrath.

Still one star for the historical value of this book. Apr 19, Johan Dingler rated it it was amazing. Una oda al honor. Oct 22, Lucy rated it did not like it Shelves: If you’re looking for that, you will be disappointed because it’s basically just his autobiography and some rules for the Iron Guard. If you’re interested in Romanian fascism or fascism in general, it’s worth reading just for the historical value.

Other than that, it’s anti-Semitic bile and actually pretty boring. You’d think a death-obsessed religious fanatic with mystic leanings legionariew at least write something interesting. An extraordinary book from so many perspectives: If you don’t understand and feel the large river of painful truth flowing from this great writing, you’re either not Romanian or having your mind poisoned by Judeo-Communist lies.
